50lb Ice Melt Broadcast Spreader

The 50lb Ice Melt Broadcast Spreader is a winter-focused push spreader that holds a full 50 lb bag of salt or ice melt and broadcasts material up to about 15 feet per pass. A high-flow hopper handles coarse rock salt, while solid linkage and a sealed gearbox provide dependable cold-weather control. Nine-inch tires move through slush and compacted snow with better traction than hard wheels.

We encourage everyone to remove any extra material from the spreader before throughly cleaning the inside and outside of the spreader. Allow the spreader to completely dry before storing in a cool, dry area. You may coat the metal portions in a light oil.

Yes, this spreader can be used for sand, top soil and even compost. Do not use unit for spreading grass seed or fertilizer products.
